If you didn't know better, you wouldn't go in. But once inside, the food is local, genuine, first class and not overpriced. The space is cramped and noise level high at lunch but worth every second. An experience not to be missed when in Rome.

This is a hidden gem in the Jewish Ghetto area. If you do not pay attention you will miss it. It took a lot of asking around to find so be patient. It's technically a club(a way to avoid taxes) so you have to sign in "in order to become a member" Simple but very good. Fried artichokes (a la... More

I have been to Sora Margherita a few times and have enjoyed every visit. The tables are a bit cramped, but this is Rome and it is the same in many places. It is all about the food and Sora Margherita does not deserve. On top of the great food, service is friendly and ambiance is very welcoming. Don't miss... More

I love this restaurant. I took people that had never been there twice on this last trip to Roma. I noticed that it wasn't nearly as crowded. I was worried that we would not be able to get in. I think it might have something to do with price...14 euro for 3 meatballs is a bit much. I love them,... More

This place is a true hidden gem! It's small, local and with absolutely amazing food. Went here on a Wednesday night and we were lucky to get a table right away. The staff is Italian and somewhat rude, but take it as a part of the experience. Food is more than worth it.

Local Italian restaurant. It's hard to find since it's in a side street with no tables outside, even the restaurant's sign is hidden. Nevertheless the food is delicious, the service is quick and the atmosphere reminds a working class restaurant. There's a waiting list that starts soon after the place opens (at 12:30), so make sure you arrive early.

We were recommended this restaurant for their speciality which is the deep fried artichoke plus an authentic Roman and unique experience. It did not disappoint we arrived around 745 and left our names with the lady whom I assume was the owner, they open at 8 for the first sitting, second seating is at 930pm. The small space filled up... More

My daughter had recommended this place, having eaten here a few years ago. I wish I could say we were impressed, but we definitely would not eat here again. We've been to Rome several times, so we've been exposed to many eateries here and throughout Italy, including others in the ghetto. First, the quarters are so small and uncomfortable, that... More

The reason I am giving this restaurant a poor review is the reason I never ate here. I made a reservation via email weeks before the date. Everything seemed okay and I received a confirmation. On the evening of the reservation, we were a group of 5 and had made an 8:30 pm reservation, we walked to the restaurant to... More
