I cannot stress how good this Resturant is.. and take it from an Italian. My boyfriend and I have been here son many times I can barely remember! It's perfect for families friends and also to spend some time with your other half.. amazing food, atmosphere and service. Truly my top 10 in Rome. A trip to Rome is never... More

We've been back to this restaurant every time we visit Rome situated near the Vatican a touristy area however, it is heavily patronised by locals. It serves traditional Italian food, the service is ok the food is consistently good. We've found this to be an excellent lunch restaurant their pasta is very good their portions are a bit too generous... More

The first thing you see entering the restaurant are their beautiful steaks in side a cabinet of glass. I had the bistecca fiorentina which was arguably the best steak Ive ever had. Perfectly grilled to a medium-rare. The pasta was good, as well as the desert. You should reserve a table, or at least show up early if you want... More

Despite the location near the Vatican city, this restaurant is filled with locals. The food is great and the people watching is also fun! The staff is very responsive.

The service was very nice but the meal was too expensive for the small size and rather average taste. The place is pretty and the waiters are compitent and welcoming.

For people who 'know' eating in Rome this is a classic top restaurant. The family restaurant has been here for ever and has a loyal clientele. Plenty of tables inside and outside but you must book. Meat is the house specialty - the T bone steak, big enough for 3 or 4 people is fabulous. White beans and the Filetto... More

We stopped for lunch after our tour of the Vatican museum. A delightful restaurant with great pasta and deserts! The service was the best we've had during our 2 weeks in Italy. Highly recommended!

Ate here with work colleagues in June, 10pm at night. The place was bustling and the steaks were incredible (see photo). Only to be surpassed by wild strawberries and ice-cream - perfection.

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
