Well OK, maybe to call this place little might be a bit deceiving. We were lucky enough to get a table in the beautiful and cosy front area, but the back dining room is three times the size, if not more. And maybe calling it...More

The restaurant is authentic and very Italian .. Bruscheta, pizza AND tiramisu were so good. We were 5 persons and non of us left a bit in the plates. I already recommended the place to at least 3 persons. It is sure that I will...More

I was on my own and had a very warm welcome. Great place with tables set with traditional "red square" towels. What to say about the food? Delightful, respectful of tradition and served in generous portions. I hope I have new opportunities to dine here....More

Whilst I would not describe it as a family restaurant we were made to feel very welcome with two young children. Traditional trattoria, lively atmosphere and good food. Would recommend this restaurant.

You'll love this place in the moment you'll enter it! The atmosphere is very particular, the food is delicious as homemade, the portions are quite generous, and the "fritti" (fried appetizers) are as an italian mom would do them. You will find a reduced menu...More

We were recommended this restaurant by the receptionist at our hotel on the first night. When we arrived, the restaurant was nearly empty but all of the tables were booked. We waited for 20 minutes for a couple to finish their meal and before being...More

Based our visit on the reviews. Food was fine and the restaurant was very busy... clearly a very popular place! Nice pizza - my pasta was very 'al dente' but okay. Small front section opens up to large back space. Service pleasant but not as...More

In an overall fair price, you will change your mind on what carbonara should taste. We tried the house pizza, and the balance of tastes was great, the spaggetti carbonara, which was a revelation and the house wine which was nice. La Fraschetta is definitely...More

Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded
postcard, a little worn around the edges but still
charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering
streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and
overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible
mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of
entertainment - a rotating set of street performers
entertains almost every night, and unforgettable

Mi dispiace ma purtroppo, dato lo spazio, è poco fruibile da un disabile con carrozzina

Description
"La Fraschetta" di via San Francesco a Ripa è caratteristico, intimo e grazioso; propone un servizio cordiale e brillante, candidandosi senza difficoltà sia come ideale rifugio per una coppia in cerca di riservatezza sia per cene di lavoro e ritrovi amicali in una cornice neorustica e famigliare. La cucina, tendenzialmente vincolata alla nostra adorabile tradizione romana, spazia, con stile, dalla coda alla vaccinara agli spaghetti alla carbonara. Dolci sempre fatti in casa. Molto buona la carta dei vini; non mancano bianco e rosso della casa. Il locale è stato inaugurato nel 1976: lo staff proviene dalle esperienze di Ciceruacchio e Meo Patacca.
