This little trattoria was recommended to us & it surely didn't disappoint. Food is very authentic & home style Roman cooking. Nothing was too much trouble and the dishes were altered to suit. Bread was forthcoming and the little nightcap before we left was a...More

I’ve been to Gioia Mia nearly every visit in the past 10 years and I always walk away thinking the last visit was the best. The setting is lively, the food authentic and always a pleasure to enjoy. I’ve taken both my wife and son...More

This is a little gem of a restaurant not far from Piazza Bernini and the US Embassy. Quaint, bustling, and authentic it's a great place for a reasonably priced, filling meal. The pastas were excellent as were the meat dishes. Service was a bit haphazard...More

This is a lovely restaurant in an alleyway close (but not too close) to the Trevi Fountain. Very busy in the evening, with queuing to get a table. Delicious basic Italian food, at a modest price. Friendly engaging staff - free limoncello to finish a...More

After over 40 years of patronage I may be a little biased but Gioia Mia continues to deliver delicious pizza each and every time! The hustle and bustle of the place and the intimate quarters add to the charm and keep us coming back for...More

Wow, we just loved this place. We were looking for another restaurant and asked an Italian on the street for directions. He did not know of the intended restaurant, but recommended this one. Homemade pasta clinched the deal. I was born in Rome and know...More

We were looking for somewhere casual for lunch that wasn't a tourist trap, and this place was perfect! The pasta here came in large portions, and service was quick!

Excellent quick service, great risotto, completely full at 8.30 pm a weekday in September. Enjoyed it very much!!

A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is
all about action. From early morning through the wee
hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a
never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or
take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming
gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of
hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle
are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you

Hi Sue, the best way to book is calling them I guess...i don't think that they use email address for the booking. It's an "old style" restaurant 😉. Enjoy your time in Rome. Claudia Carmone.
