Restaurant looks cozy. Typical italian. Reminded me from the Godfather film. We met only italians there. Pizza was fantastic. It had almost butter taste. Very creamy. Red Wine was excellent. We would come again

We went there with family and kids. Prices are reasonable and the vino rosso della cassa is excellent. Fried artichokes, pastas pizzas etc are delicious! Less "touristy" than most places in Trastevere, worth the visit if you are in the area.

Nice lasagna, pollo with patate, great creme caramel. Inexpensive. Service is ok, the place has local people. A very good value.

I and my wife have been several times in Miraggio to eat traditional roman food. It's one of my favourite restaurants in Italy. The food is very good and it is very cheap too. Of course, it's also a food quite difficult to appreciate if you are vegan or vegetarian. I usually go to Miraggio to eat food like lamb... More

👌🏻We had our last supper in Rome at this restaurant (it was recommended by a friend of my colleague). It didn't disappoint! 🚖It was a bit far out from the city center (we took a taxi - 3 kilometers from where we lived) and I guess because of that there were also more Italians/locals than tourists. That was a big... More

We have visited the place on Friday night and it was full, that is why we decided it could be of a good quality. My son has ordered bean soup. That was hot and spicy, but definitely not tasty at all. I have ordered lamb chops and it was total disaster: overdone up to dry and crispy, mostly bones, side... More

Our apartment was just down the street from this restaurant and the owner recommended it and we were just blown away by everything we ordered. Ended up eating there three of the six days we were in Trastevere. As Americans, we ate earlier than the locals, but that was in our favor as when the rush started, there wasn't an... More

Lacks the pizzazz of many of the trastevere restaurants, but If u seek a very good Italian meal, at totally reasonable prices, look no further. The fried anchovies for a starter were magnificent. The pastas all very good (lasagna excellent) and tiramisu fantastic. Service was always prompt and with a smile.

Staying at the Gran Melia, Rome local this Restaurant came highly recommended. It is only 7min walk towards Trasteverre on the lower level road. It is very unassuming, but the Food is Fab. Service was excellent and the prices are so inexpensive for the quality of food served. Fortunately, the Hotel had pre booked a Table for us as we... More

Very friendly, great food, everything we ordered was amazing! The seafood risotta, fried artichokes, spaghetti with clams, and on and on! Wish we could eat there every day, and reasonable too 😁

Thank Esther W

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
