This was recommended by a local. We only had the carbonara, so I don't know what the rest of the food is like. The carbonara was pretty good, but we've had better in Rome. The location is good and I like the charm of the...More

May be Rome is the only place where you can find plenty of good restaurants so close to the must see spots. Ristorante Maccheroni is one of them. Italian dishes well prepared just 100 m from the Pantheon a good place to restore energy and...More

Food was mediocre at best (we had 2 pasta dishes) but service was awful. We were seated at the basement- real hot, no a/c. The waiter made a mistake with the main course, the wine and the the type of water (come on) and was...More

We truly enjoyed our meal (dinner) here. The service is fast, attentive, thorough and top notch. Truly not a tourist trap. Our server perhaps the only woman working in the establishment was delightful. She recommended a great wine that was the best Italian we’ve ever...More

Traditional homemade (I really mean homemade) Italian food. The menu offers more than pasta, not pizza though. Big portions. Pasta + dessert 23€ w/o wine

Our 7th time in Rome and we dined with our 2 children (14 and 11) and loved it. Both times we were surrounded by romans (maybe all the people complaining about touristy were eating at 5pm???)... service is unusual for Italy as everything came relatively...More

Yes it’s a bit touristy but it’s actually very tasty food and you get a big portion for the money. Crowded and loud, but worth it. For touristy central Rome it’s a safe bet. Enjoyed pasta all’ammatriciana, the grilled veg were fresh and tasty.

This was recommended but turned out to be quite average food. Was busy and the tourist trade probably has let it be complacent. The dishes were decent but not up there.

Visited with the intention of eating lunch, ordered drinks and having looked at the menu as well as food being served decided we weren't interested in ordering food. What followed was an incredibly rude, hostile telling off from the man avidly ushering in anyone he...More

One of the best place to taste cacio e pepe and carbonara. A lot of tastes of pizza, spaggeti and meat dishes and some deserts.

Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a
five-minute walk of each other, the
Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and
most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful
throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art
galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood
museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the
streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa

I think you should phone the restaurant and book the table speaking directly with them. That would be more appropriate.
