We've been to this restaurant several times and we make sure that we go every time we're in Rome. It's so lovely being greeted like a friend and having such excellent service all round! All the staff and proprietor are great! Friendly and always ready...More

Small place off the Campo di Fiori so make reservations! Excellent food - ate dinner here twice. Have the hazelnut semi-freddo in a sea of coffee for dessert - to die for!!

You don't need to book to come and eat here. I thought that the "Fork" booking system showing limited availability meant that I had to come here at the allotted time and that was that. What I realised is that they had a number of...More

We ate here three times in the four days we spent in Rome. Why? When you find a quality restaurant with reasonable prices in Rome you thank your lucky stars. Everything was first-rate from the pasta, to the lamb, to the cockeral, and the suckling...More

Ditirambo's is a small characterful restaurant, a stones throw from the Campo de Fiori, that serves classic Roman dishes. The quality of the food is very good as is the choice of dishes. On our visit the service was fine and overall we had a...More

We ate here on a recent Sunday evening, and overall, we enjoyed the experience : the Food was OK to "Good", our "Server", Walter, was excellent. There's a choice here between "inside or out" (we opted for "inside"), and our welcome was fairly good -...More

This restaurant is close to major tourist sites but avoids the tourist fare and instead serves up delicious Italian with contemporary feel. This came recommended by an Italian friend - so it's a win with locals as well.

Been there on recommandation of my B&B host, and she was right. Excellent meat, very tender. Good service too. And apparently this restaurant has a very good reputation in Rome, famous for the freshness of the food.

Took friends visiting from Australia who enjoyed it so much we ate there again next night. Ditirambo is a long time favourite of ours which we always visit when in Rome. When a restaurant elevates really simple dishes to something memorable you take notice. The...More

Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a
five-minute walk of each other, the
Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and
most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful
throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art
galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood
museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the
streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa

The "bread" / coperto charge is pretty standard in Rome, from my experience. I've asked local Italians about this and they are also charged coperto. I'm not sure what the additional $9 charge is. Could it be foreign... More
