We enjoyed a great started, pasta and main! Desserts could have been better but we might have wrongly chosen! Wine great! Very nice list of whiskey and cognac! Service is great!

Our first night in Rome. We were told about a vegetarian restaurant very near our B and B by the father of our young lady host. Immediately impressed by the rather studious decor, we were the first in to eat, but afterwards the room filled very fast with educated looking people. There were three of us and everything we ate... As a vegetarian, one often has to forgo haute cuisine to get something without meat or fish. This is NOT the case at L'Arancia Blu. There is a vast menu of vegetarian and vegan choices, one delight after another so it was difficult to choose. Instead, we had the "degustation menu" which is a four-course tasting menu. Each of the... More

Literally the BEST FOOD IN TOWN (i grew up in Rm, so trust me I know) It has, in time, become the restaurant I book when I go to Rome and seek a night out with my girlfriends. I LOVE every single dish they have on the menu, not living in Rome it's always a special treat coming here. Last... More

This restaurant is a very special place! Atmosphere is very romantic, cozy and inspiring. Wines are delicious and staff knows what to offer. Food is outstanding. I wish there would be more vegetarian restaurants like this! Price was fair for the joy that the place has given. Portions are big.

This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and environment, it is decorated really nicely. We didn't book but there were tables available when we arrived. The food was soooo good, we had starters, mains and seconds! We also had a really nice bottle of wine with it. My partner really enjoyed it and he isn't vegetarian. There were a lot of... More

A lovely restaurant for our vegetarian family. The three courses of our meals were very tasty and well presented. Excellent helpful waiter. Recommended and well worth seeking out.

The atmosphere of L'Arancia Blue is quite charming, something between a wine shop and a bookstore. Don't let if fool you. We made a reservation and we had to wait 30 minutes standing anyway. Service was PAINFULLY slow: we ordered some starters that took a literal hour to arrive. As a whole, to eat a started and a main course,... More

I was unfortunate enough to spend my birthday here with friends, thinking it would do us vegetarians proud. How bad can Italian food be? I was ashamed. It was so embarrassing to have he waiter collect our plates practically untouched. It tasted old, stale, and reheated. The staff are obviously ashamed of this restaurant too, as they ignored us the... More

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
