Stumbled across this place and very glad I did, delightfully roman! Simple but really delicious food, the spaghetti is just as you'd imagine , so much more tasty than one at home with Fresh pasta! on a quiet street away from the crowds and perfect for curing a hangover!!!

One Italian tour guide suggested this place to eat, as the place that Italian's eat.The food was very good. The bill was a piece of paper from a notebook in Italian, so they can write WHATEVER they want. Basically, they charged us 9 extra euros with an unreadable line in this piece of paper as a concept. When we asked to... More

We had reserved a table at this restaurant earlier in the day. It's a small establishment; on arrival we were placed right by the door. Luckily it was a warm night! There were a selection of bottled Moretti beers, but we went for the one on tap. We had a starter of olive ascolane - freshly fried and absolutely delicious!... More

My first day in Rome during the walking tour I was on, we passed by the area & our tour guide specially pointed out this place tucked away on a ‘quieter’ side street. He told us that they had pages and pages of different kinds of spaghetti & was a popular spot with locals as well as tourists. After the... More

We ate lunch here twice. On our first visit, my husband had a delicious lemon pasta that caused us to come back again. The clientele seemed to be mostly tourists, with a scattering of locals. The ambiance was nothing special - the seating was cramped - and the service could be hit or miss. We had pizza, pasta, cold vegetable... More

Me and my girlfriend have been twice since in Rome, recommend arancini and any of the crostini starters, and the 'chanel' pasta. Really cheap food and amazing quality, you won't be ripped off for being a tourist like some of the other places in Rome

Went here for a semi-late lunch after visiting the Trevi fountain. It was around 3:00 PM, so it was nice to see a lunch spot open for a change. Looked like a good menu, so stopped in. The outside seating was cute, but too close to being in the cetner of a busy street in my opinion...a bit dangerous. As... More

Went with a large group of friends on Friday night and had a really delicious meal. So decided to return on Sunday for lunch. BUT the service or lack of was a disaster. Waited 20 minutes for menus...eventually got them and were ready to order quickly & the waiters were nowhere to be seen. Eventually made eye contact with one... More

I cannot tell you how poor our experience of this place was. We went there on a whim and from the moment we walked in realised we had made a mistake, but stupidly stayed. The waiter was dreadful, we waited for a good 20 mins before being noticed and then were served food that was inedible. Spaghetti carbonara, Vesuvius pizza,... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
