Excellent food, and service. Risotto al forno must try. Good options for veggies as well. Must visit.

We found this place by coincidence, it looked nice so we decided to have diner here. Read the reviews here afterwards and surprised that they are so positive because we would not recommend this restaurant after our experience. Service is correct, no a bad word about the work of the waiter since he did his job well, but the quality... More

Great small place only 200 m or so from Piazza del Popolo. Amazing the better value for money you can get just walking a block down a side street from Via del Corso versus what you might get at the tourist restaurants on the Piazza. Come here if you want to eat - great atmosphere.

Just had dinner in this restaurant by chance, after walking the whole of Via Del Corso. Located down a side street on the left just before Piazza del Popole, it had a lovely cosy atmosphere and very attentive staff. Best meal we have had in Rome by far!

Good quality Osteria down a side-street of the same name, offering a typical Rome menu. The food and service were both good.

Picked up by accident. I made a reservation but it was almost empty which is not a good thing. But the food was excellent. We tried carbonara. Very balanced and not very eggy. Two other pastas with bacon, one with white sauce and the other with red. And a calzone. Very tasty food; the children loved it. The house red... More

We ended up at Al Vantaggio because 3 other places were fully booked. So when we checked online to see what was still available, Al Vantaggio came up as a place that was closeby, had a relatively good review and had a table for 5. So we headed out that way. We were not dissapointed! The service was so friendly,... More

Just off the heaving via del Corso you will find an outpost of civility and authentic Roman feeling in Al Vantaggio. Founded in 1920, this traditional eaterie was originally a tavern for carriage drivers, but now has a much more comfortable ambience half-paneled walls, 17th century style frescoes, white tablecloths, artfully folded napkins, air conditioning. Run by a pair of brothers who grew up with this restaurant and are dedicated to it, Al Vantaggio is a relaxing and elegant place to enjoy a true Roman kitchen with a few Calabrian twists. Dishes include a rather spectacular spaghetti con frutti di mare, rich oxtail stew, and home made tiramis. Italian wines complete the picture.
