It's good to have a reservation here. It wasn't very crowded when we went there but we heard it often is. The location is on a little island which makes it a nice location, outside the touristic places and crowd. Food was really tasty and...More

I come to Sora Lella with some friends of mine, who lives in Rome, and they assured me that I would have found the best, absolutely typical, original Roma's kitchen...so it has been! I never ever eaten a such delicious "Carbonara" (italian pasta with eggs,...More

Some people have been disappointed by Sora Lello, but we enjoyed it for its food, its service, and its location. We had no reservation, but arrived as it opened for lunch and were seated right away. Staff spoke enough English and we spoke enough Italian...More

Ate there Tuesday evening. Mature staff very helpful. Suspect food more local than simply touristy. My wife and I both enjoyed the beef and veal dishes respectively and a generous serve of sides. Not far from Trevi Fountain but tucked away. Recommend above others we...More

One of the classics of Rome. I was wondering if it was going to be more touristy and less authentic, but it really didn’t matter, the food and service were great. Okay, prices are a notch above normal trattoria prices, but the quality of my...More

This place had been recommended to me as the "absolute restaurant to visit in Rome". I was expecting something out of this world. The service was good. No faults there. However the food was a bit bland sometimes, especially the arancini. The pasta was good...More

Sora Lella has a gazillion stickers on the front and even Anthony Bourdain has visited so expectations were kind of high when we stepped in. Food turned out bland (meatballs, trippa, tagliatelle ragu) which is surprising in Italy. Also the greens ordered as a side...More

A reservation (for lunch or dinner) is always a good idea. This is a very popular spot and fills up fast. Don't be disappointed, give them a call to ensure a seat and a great meal! Cheers

Its reasonable. But please define that first. For us it was the one meal we had in Rome so cost was not the issue. But it wasn't exorbitant.
