We were looking forward to dinner here, but unfortunately were disappointed. First the service was disinterested, almost absent. We had asked for a nice table but were seated at an uncomfortable table beneath where drinks were poured. Many of the better situated tables were occupied...More

Stumbled across Il Bacaro on our last day in Rome and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Looked as though there were quite a few locals which is always a good sign. Perfect setting in a tiny square. Sat outside under the vine clad canopy. Good service...More

Tucked away in a quiet side street one can dine under a canopy of lights and vines. The romantic setting is matched by attentive, friendly service and lovely traditional cuisine.

We were staying just around the corner, and although we had researched hundreds of restaurants (there are so many it seems impossible to know where to go in the city of food) and only had three nights in Rome when we walked past Il Bacaro...More

Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a
five-minute walk of each other, the
Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and
most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful
throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art
galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood
museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the
streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa

Antico e moderno. A Restaurant that reflect all sights of Rome thanks to its modern design, its romantic atmosphere, our fine cookery and the finest wine in Rome.
