Wouldn't know where to start with the negatives of this restaurant. Upon arriving on a hot Friday night with empty tables outside, we were given a table to the also empty inside section as "it is impossible to sit outside without a reservation" the waiter...More

Dear customer, we are very sorry to read these words of note but we must note that many things are inaccurate. Our mistake is in the wine year brought to the table and we apologize but on the rest we do not understand why nothing...More

This is a nice small bistro in the heart of Rome near Patheon, tucked in a small corner alley. The dinning room is very small. The servers were nice and knowledgeable. The wine list was limited but reasonably priced. The food was average. While the...More

Stopped here for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant is hidden away down a quiet street near the Pantheon, and the outside tables under a canopy of vines were great. Our waiter was very helpful and recommended a delicious bottle of wine....More

Our hotel recommended Il Bacaro....and the rest of their suggestions had been spot on....and whilst Il Bacaro was good, it didn't quite deliver for us. The restaurant is not the easiest to find, tucked away down a small street and is tiny....maybe 25 covers....but with...More

We read a book review that was rather good. Menu looked interesting so in we went. On the positives the wine was fantastic and so was the pasta. Negatives however outweighed the positives. Game dish was littered with bone fragments more like roadkill than butchery...More

We ate here for lunch on Christmas Eve. The meal was INCREDIBLE. The winner, without a doubt, was the pasta with truffles. It is so decadent, though, that I would recommend ordering a couple of plates as an appetizer to share with a large group.

Antico e moderno. A Restaurant that reflect all sights of Rome thanks to its modern design, its romantic atmosphere, our fine cookery and the finest wine in Rome.
