Went here on recommendation from our hotel, and what a treat it was. This is reassuringly not a tourist venue (we struggled a little with language as I don't speak Italian) and decor was basic, but the food was really good and excellent value, and the restaurant well patronised by Italians. They offer a pasta dish that is pure theatre... More

I try to make at least one stop at Est! Est! Est! when in Rome. Pizza is great, and it's not really a touristy thing. Open usually until late, it's the equivalent of a late night, on the way home, stop for food.

I first ate here in 1978. I asked the hotelier of my cheap accommodation (I was a poor student in those days) where he went for a cheap authentic Italian meal without going way out of the suburbs. This is where I was sent and every time I am back in Rome a pilgrimage to this place is essential. Prices... More

You can tell by the fact the clientele is 90% Italian that this place is going to serve quality food. I wasn't disappointed. It was so good I went back the following evening. Some of the other posts here are critical of the service but both times I ate there there was no issue at all- about as friendly as... More

Very nice place. Great pizza! You should taste it! And very helpful crew. In this pizzeria margharita is highly recommendet. From my point of view, other feels and smells the same, but this one is cheaper) oh, and if you want take your pizza away, you don't need to pay for packaging. This is nice)

We went just after it opened at 18:30 on a Friday. It was empty at the time only 2 other groups in there. The waiters were pleasant and courteous. We had the starter of fried broccoli and fried mozzarella, when they arrived the batter was light and not greasy and they tasted delicious. There is a good selection of pizzas... More

Great pizza, traditional fried olives, calamari. Traditional pizzeria but with your own table. If you wanna taste a real pizza, come here.

We tried one pizza and one calzone at this place, they tasted good. Selection of beers was not exciting: Peroni and Moretti. The waiter was civil, but could not be bothered smiling. One of the glasses he served the beer in had a visible mark of a lip. Cleanliness could apparantly be better. Despite good pizzas, will not revisit.

Thank Knutarn
