This place is pretty authentic and frequented by local people. Don't do experiments and stick to the wonderful pasta!

We tried this restaurant one evening because it was close to our hotel. We ate a hamburger and a scampi risotto. I wish we had gone somewhere else. The burger was tasteless and dry. The scampi risotto was basically a soup. Disappointed.

Homely restaurant. Had the set tourist menu for 10 euros. Good choice of starter, main and dedicated dessert plus glass wine. Good no frills food. Great if on a budget.

Not expensive, not pretentious, not the best food you will ever eat but tasty, family run, efficient and a very good menu.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only

Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
