Excellent "mama's" kitchen, mix of locals and occasional tourists. Dropin lunch place with 11 tables. The perfect "home-in-the-wall" place. Very friendly staff. A bit out of the way but along the way from city center to Terme Caracalla.

We went here for lunch almost every day we were in Rome because it was amazing! It is a beautiful, family-run restaurant with a menu that changes daily. The food was always delicious. Couldn't recommend more highly.

After having walked through Rome for what felt like forever, I found this place by accident and decided to ask for a Panino to go. It was lunch time and the the cosy little place was full with people. You could choose from a lot of cheese or ham variations (still had to be cut). I told them that I... More

We are a couple from Moscow, Russia, visited this place during our wonderful stay in Rome. That day, we were just looking for some authentic Italian osteria with great food. However, we found ourselves in a part of Rome where tourists were pretty scarce. We noticed this place, came in and were not disappointed at all. In short, this turned... More

I loved this place so much -food, atmosphere, service, customers, i actually teared up at one point. Its exactly what you think an italian restaurant would be and then some. Its mostly locals so you know the food is good. Its also really inexpensive. 2 euro for a good sized glass of the house wine. Menu is all in italian... More

This is not your typical restaurant for tourists to stop at. Do not expect menus in English, but do not let that stop you from trying this wonderful establishment! We stopped here for lunch as we walked towards the Roman Forum. Everything we tried was delicious and they even modified some dishes to accommodate my allergy to mushrooms. I recommend... More

Searched for somewhere to eat after visiting Baths of Caracalla and very pleased to have chosen this lovely little restaurant. Typical Italian. The menu was all Italian but the owner, Valentina, was very friendly and helped us choose. Large sharing platters of cheeses, meats and vegetables washed down with Italian beer were delicious and excellent value for money. Make sure... More

I visited this small restaurant earlyafternoon on Thursday 18th September having searched for Italian restaurants near to where I was staying (at a friend's apartment on Via Norico). One very friendly Italian lady working inside was busy chatting to local customers but she broke-off to welcome me as a solo female traveller, looking for good homemade food in a kind... More

I was there with my friend. We ate a delicious Gnocchi and drank amazing Italian white wine. Dessert was great. The staff is wonderful, nice people, smiling, positive attitude to everyone. I can say that was the best unplanned break from our sightseeing. For sure we will come back to this restaurant. Thanku you for amazing time in this place!... More
