I came to this restaurant 2 years ago with my family and we came multiple nights because of how sweet the owner is and how incredible the food was. I am in Rome again and had to go and the woman remembered me from 2...More

This simple restaurant is close to Piazza Navona but a little hidden away in a quiet backstreet. It is essentially a cheap and cheerful restaurant with surprisingly good food. The ox cheek in red wine, and the liver and pasta dishes we had were both...More

We are so lucky to have dined at this restaurant on our last night in Rome. This place has so much charm with a bar and nice decor. The service was warm, attentive and the owner/waitress made us feel at home! Starters: Creamy hummus and...More

As noted by many reviewers this is a gem of a restaurant. Interesting local menu and decent wine all at a fair price, definitely a place to try out if you are staying near the piazza navone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. The service was great, the food delicious and the restaurant has a lovely romantic feel. The humous appetiser is a real treat! It is rather hidden takes a bit of finding but well worth it 😊

We were very impressed with both food and the very friendly service in this lovely little restaurant. I had ricotta cheese with almonds, sun dried tomato and honey, and my son had the 250g mozzarella with pesto. We both really enjoyed our starter. Husband just...More

Taverna & Vineria is a quiet place, not fancy, not modern, not on the busiest tourist street. The food has to impress, but apart from my main course which was piglet with Gorgonzola cheese, my family were not impressed with theirs. We had three different...More

Navona / Pantheon / Campo de’ Fiori
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a
five-minute walk of each other, the
Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and
most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful
throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art
galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood
museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the
streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa

Few steps in this alley and all the chaos of the center of Rome , the horn, the boisterous voices of tourists and the frenzy of our city , seem to vanish in an instant . By entering this lovely restaurant in the Chancery Lane in fact, you seem to stop time and be able to enjoy a moment of peace , enjoying the delicacies and specialties you will never find in the chaos of the bars and restaurants for tourists . The environment : here the atmosphere is more intimate to offer the quality and refinement in an elegant and refined , without losing sight of the friendliness and courtesy of the impeccable service .
