Very great coffee in one of the few Italian cafes where one can sit down and enjoy for a bit. Little more expensive than most coffee places but worth a try.

WOW. This was our first coffee experience on our trip to Italy and nothing was the same after my chocolate espresso here. Wonderful selection of pastries as well as classic Italian confectionaries sold in the front. If you enjoy vintage packaging, don't forget to take...More

We had a small breakfast here with great coffee and croissants: sweet and hearty. The main attraction are all the italian people stopping over for espresso and a quick look into the newspaper. This is Rome :)

Very popular place. Very fast service. Order and pay at the door at the front. Nice food gifts you could get out the front. There was not much English spoken however as long as you know your order it is easy. Enjoy.

I would love to give Sciascia a 5* review, but I can’t quite bring myself to do it. This review is slightly hypocritical, as I loved this place, but yet haven’t awarded a 5... The coffee was excellent, I like dark blends as all seem...More

Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is
the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in
a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is
a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and
wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every
shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and
gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but
that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
