This had been recommended to me by a Roman friend who has an eye for good food and wine. We finally went and it was very good. We had the amatricianna and gricia and they were excellent. Service and wine also very good. Well worth...More

During our stay in Rome we went here twice, the first time for dinner and the second for lunch. We absolutely loved it. Nice staff, lovely food. Loved their carbonara and oxtail. Also take a look at the Italian menu - it features some dishes...More

Loved this place! Gorgeous pasta (don’t miss the tonarelli cacio e pepe and the zucchini flowers), an extensive wine list and good bottled house wine for only 10euro; helpful service. Mostly Italians and great atmosphere for lunch when it filled. Lots of mirrors so you...More

Went here as it was recommended in the lonely planet’s guide to Italy. It opens at 7.30 for dinner service as we arrived at 7.20 and were seated immediately with no fuss. Excellent service, excellent food and excellent wine. Wouldn’t fault this little gem.

The waiter was really kind and pasta was one of the best I have ever eaten. In my opinion it deserves maximum points.

Other than the excellent pasta according to local recipes (pasta alla gricia, cacio e pepe, alla carbonara, etc.), they have also a good selection of vines. Familiar atmosphere and great food.

There are two Velavevodetto establishments close to one another. We visited the Osteria for an evening meal. The food is the traditional Roman version of Italian cooking - pasta all’Amatriciana, oxtail stew and everything else alla Romana. It was absolutely delicious but quite heavy for...More

My husband and I ate at this restaurant because of the TripAdvisor reviews. We were very disappointed. The food was bland at best. We did no sit outside because the tables were packed with smokers. Inside, it was extremely hot. We do not understand the...More

Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is
the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in
a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is
a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and
wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every
shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and
gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but
that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets,
