We had just been to Piazza Cavour and as we were bimbling around this area we chanced on this superb Scottish pub. This is a nice cavernous pub with arched ceilings and nice decor and furnishings and one eye catching serving bar. Staff here are superb and make you so welcomed in their pub . They have a really good... More

If you're Scottish, or anyone for that matter, avoid! No music, no football at peak time on a Saturday and in an abandoned atmosphere told specifically where to sit? Not to mention the smell. Ask the guy how much for two pints... told €6 but only get 300 ml. That's a half pint! Try to enquire about what I was... More

We visited this "Scottish" pub on a Six Nations day and on a day when Scotland had beaten Ireland ... we missed the game but wandered in to watch the next game thinking there would be a great atmosphere ....but ... we were the only two there ... no TVs were on ... and the staff didn't seem to know... I would pop in here if an evening after a day in Rome. Great food, friendly staff, and an excellent choice of beers. I look forward to going back.

Went in for food, it was fine, nothing earth shattering. Good selection of wines, probably good place for groups to visit.

Walking home to our B&B and fell upon this bar! Looks nothing from the outside, just 2 small doors. When you go in, it's huge! It looks like an underground cellar, plenty of room, tv's and great music. Friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble and open until 2am every morning! Loved it.

This is certainly a good find as there are not many pubs about in Rome. In England I wouldn't have given it such a high rating as it's basically a cellar sports bar but handy to find all the same. We didn't try the food but did see happy customers with burgers and pizzas.

We visited this place twice during out trip to Rome. Both the beer (Heineken and Guinness) were excellent but the highlight for us was the food with awesome burgers. It was five mins from our hotel so super handy.

It's hard enough to find a good pub in Rome but this one was great. It's off the beaten track a bit but worth looking for. It's big and spacious and always something going on. Staff were really nice too, had time for a chat always :)

They had run out of Murphy's and there was no fish and chips on the menu. We did get burgers and watch some football, but the place was tired and need some updates. None the less we had burgers and fries and I would rate them as average and say it would likely be better for lunch.

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
