On our way back to the station we stopped in for pizza and beer. What a nice surprise as from the outside it doesn't look like much but we didn't want Indian food (and there's lots of that near there). Great friendly service, reasonable prizes and a great pizza that we shared. Truly enjoyed it all! There is another pizza... More

After a wonderful day of discovering the lovely Subaidia beach, my wife and i decided to look for a place to eat opposite the Termini station. After walking past several kebab & Indian places ( we have loads of those in London!), we stopped to look at the menu at Twins. We were greeted by this wonderful young man, Victor( I... More

Brilliant during the day, a quiet pizzeria with lovely decor. We didn't eat here but the owners gave us plenty of samples to try. Visited during the night time and it's a completely different atmosphere.... Not for the easily offended as it turns into a down and dirty Latino club - excellent entertainment even if you don't join in!!

First trip to Rome & I was a little apprehensive about what value things should be, conversions, deals etc. Off the back of a 32hr almost sleepless set of flights trying to work out where to eat for the best value in Rome seemed like an interesting task. Low and behold my sister and I stumbled across this restaurant, the... More

Visited Rome a couple of weeks ago with my girlfriend for a midweek break. We were visiting from London and were staying just around the corner from Twins. The people working there were very friendly. On the first night the owner/manager started talking to me and was very polite. The little dishes they put out on your table when you... More

Myself and my girlfriend decided to try here after a long day sightseeing. We weren't expecting anything amazing given that it was right beside the train station (we were expecting a bit of a tourist trap), however we were very pleasantly surprised! The service was fantastic and fast, the staff were very courteous and friendly. The food was absolutely beautiful,... More

Well, it was my first pizza in Rome, so maybe all pizzas are good here. Anyways I loved it. I ordered a seafood pizza, and I had two beers and fries with it, and it cost me 15€. The staff were friendly, like most Italians are. overall, I had a very good meal.

Thank Moj E

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
