Do not on any account go to this place, they will rob you blind, you do not get an itemised bill, we had a plate of pasta, €9 each, the pasta was dry with barely any sauce, 2 medium beers, 2 coffees and 2 small pastries, €51!!! This place gives Rome a bad name, the food is poor quality, the... More

It was raining so my friend and I popped in for a coffee. The staff are unbelievably rude. They have a policy that you have to order drinks and food otherwise they ask you to leave!! They actually did this to a couple sat next to us who ordered coffee but because they didn't want to eat the waiter just... More

Family and I had lunch here. Their napkins have on it a picture of the Vittoriano Museum Complex. There is a display of bakery goods on the right side of the restaurant. In the front, there are 3 - 5 slush drink flavors available with a sign that says "no self service." I ordered a lemon drink and it was... More

We popped in here for a coffee and a snack when it started raining. It was quite confusing on how to actually order your food. The elder waiter was the rudest man I have ever encountered. He seemed quite put out that people actually wanted to order anything. (the younger one was excellent btw) He was turning people away for... More

Well we wanted to order a pizza. A perfectly round full one. But the rude waiter told us "no seat. Not only pizza. Must buy food plus drink". So we left. He's not the boss he said. We didn't care for this tourist trap anymore, you shouldn't either.

Antico caffe Castellino is near piazza Venezia. We stopped just for drinks and snacks but they had a full menu.

We asked them three times not to put tomatoes in our plain pasta, after the waiter repeated back our request, it still came back with tomatoes. I told him I was allergic so he took two plates away and charged us anyway. The rest of the meals were awful. We had the lasagna and pasta with marinara. Do yourself a... More

We stopped for a snack and drinks and to take a break from sightseeing. Good service and good food. Nothing special but enjoyable.

Prices are high. Pizza is average. Toilets are dump. But stuff speaks in english. They cook pizza on sunday at 3 o'clock morning. You can buy cigaretts, drinks, alcohol and this caffeteria is only one open shop in entire Rome. That's, why i am giving 5 stars, because anyway we would be hungry and thirsty. This survive our night trip... More

You can find various items at this corner cafe from salads, pastas, pizza, pastries, coffee, and gelato. You can order at a table or order at the counter. Ordering at the counter can be a little confusing at first (e.g., pay for your gelato and then flag down one of the waiters to fill your order). Convenient and you get... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
