in the square there are a number of restaurants serving pretty much standard italian and romano dishes, we tried a number of them an d we found magnolia to be the best.

We sat here and watched the interesting characters working and visiting the markets in the square. The maitre de was an interesting character who chatted with us about the going ons. The food was really good and we enjoyed it so much we stayed for...a couple of hours.More
We (me and my friends) had a great evening at this place. The staff was very friendly and entertaining, the food was very good (especially the pizza) and we really enjoyed the cocktails. I can definitely recommend it!
DO NOT GO HERE! Read.... The WORST service in Rome. I live in Rome. I have been a student here for 5 years. I have never been treated as horrible as I was treated tonight. A pint of beer was spilled on my overcoat. I...had ordered a bottle of wine, and someone in the group ordered a pint of beer. In the course of the evening, an older wait spilled more than half of a pint of beer on my overcoat. I tried to wipe most of it off. I questioned the staff, when asking for the bill. I have also been a customer at the place (only because my friends would go here) in the past. I was never satisfied. A restaurant in the center of Rome, in one of the most popular squares, and they HATE the Church, HATE priests, HATE Catholics. I questioned the bill because I knew I would have to clean my overcoat by dry cleaning. The reality is, the staff member knew he spilled beer on my coat and did NOTHING to make recompense for that. A 30 minute conversation insued. The young staff members threatened to speak to the policemen in the square (I didn’t care, I am a legal student in Rome). I spoke to the police after this incident, which would not be acceptable in any respectable institution. DO NOT GO HERE!More
Went with friends for a drink after an evening meal elsewhere. Service was slow and haphazard. The drinks delivered were not the ones ordered and then a member of staff proceeded to spill beer all over my friend’s jacket. Rather than comping the bill in...order to compensate for the damage to the jacket and the AWFUL customer service, my friends were interrogated by the staff and intimidated by them, being made to feel as though they were in the wrong for asking for credit to the bill to be applied because of the staff member spilling beer all over my colleague’s jacket. The staff are rude, inefficient and have zero customer service skills. I used to frequent this bar regularly when it was under its previous management. The current staff appear to be foreign and not Italian and they do not seem to understand basic western customer service standards. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.More
We stopped here for lunch, food was lovely. Sat outside, heaters worked great didn’t need a coat on! Service was good.
Had a wonderful time with my daughter. The host, Ciro, and our waiter Mario, made us feel like family! The wine, antipasti and focaccia - don’t miss it when you are in Rome!
Excellent location. Excellent service. They made lentils special to celebrate our New Years tradition. Highly recommend this place.
I come here at least once every weekend and still love it. The atmosphere is amazing. Everything is well priced and the drinks are great. Service is marvellous too!
Its end of November and have come to our favourite city in the world rome. We have stayed for 4 nights and eaten plenty all over. We found magnolia on campo de fiori. The service is 5 star, the food is 5 star, the place...is 5 star and the cocktails are 5 star. Everything is fresh and homemade. We love it and they looked after us very well. Thank you to magnolia we cannot wait to come again. Thank you xxx Beth and janMore
