This was a very small bar in Lobby. Good for hotel guests to sit after a long day and have a drink but definitely not a bar you would go to unless you were staying in the hotel.

his is just another cafe taking advantage of the crowd visiting the Vatican and Saint Peter square and cathedral. It is not worth going there.

We are in Rome for 3 days and just ate lunch at Bar Conciliazione....it was extremely over priced. It is the most expensive "snack" we have during our stay in Italy. The pizza was not as ordered and we were charge 5 Euro extra for a ham to be added....it was a tiny piece of ham. A small cup of... More

My wife and I ate lunch here after a long morning at the Vatican. It was on our walk back to the river and we tried not to eat at places where they try and talk you into dining there. We had no choice to cave as we were starving. The panini bread was hard for my sandwich but my... More

The items are all alcarte - becareful on each order because you can spend quite a bit if your are not careful. The mozzarella and smoked salamon are delicious.

Our tour guide Angelo recommended this place to us. He said the food would be freshly prepared and authentic. It certainly looked fresh to me and tasted very good, the wine wasn’t bad either. With its location it’s certainly a good spot for lunch or dinner after your tour of the Vatican, although a bit pricy.

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighbourhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighbourhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighbourhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
