We were given this as a recommendation from a food tour guide. Was so good! We arrived about 2 pm - waited a few minutes for a table. The sandwiches are amazing! I had the Risogiamento. Absolutely fabulous! Wish I knew what the 200 degree sauce is made of. The sundried tomatoes make this sandwich, though. My husband had Colonna... More

If you are visiting the Vatican and need a bite to eat, don't settle for the overpriced and worse quality vendors on the main streets. Eat here, nice staff with a great selection of Italian style sandwiches.

Dining area is small so we waiting about 20minutes for a table. We did a variety of sandwiches and shared between 4 people. Paired the sandwiches with champagne and we had a delightful and quick lunch before visiting the Vatican (walkable). Prices are $1 more if you're dining in rather than take away.

Amazing experience in Rome until we got here. Once they found out we didn't want yo sit, which cost one extra euro PER ITEM, they would no longer serve us. We stood at the counter for almost 10 minutes with no one else there and no eye contact was even made. So disappointing because I had found them originally on... More

A step away from the Vatican, a good surprise. A million sandwich choices, all fresh products made in front of you. Good prices, even the drinks. However no real place to sit in the restaurant or near it. Good to take away for a picnic.

You don't need so much words to describe how much is tasty, fresh, delicious, crispy, all the sandwich is amazing it depends of course what you want to put inside but 99℅ you will be happy to eat there. Just the best in town. I go there at least once a week.

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
