Service was poor and food was bad. We had to insist to seat inside, even the sun was up and hot and inside was pretty space full. They charged 4 euros for service even though there was no bread on our table. If you must eat there, just pick up from the balcony, because from the menu you might not... More

I recently visited here with some friends while in Rome, we were looking quickly for somewhere to eat quickly as we were battling our way through torrential rain! We stumbled across Anticas and it looked a reasonable place from outside so we decided to head in. Menu had a varied selection of traditional Italian food but little did we know... More

Went here on a trip to Rome with my girlfriend and friends. The waiter from next door advised us that they made their pasta that morning which we thought was reasonable but didn't realise he meant they cooked it that morning (as in with the sauce etc) then just warmed it up again. I opted for the seafood spaghetti. First... More

Had a piece of pizza on my way to the Pantheon. They have a nice selection of pizzas. The quality was OK, nonetheless a bit overpriced as you'd expect.

The entrance off the Corso goes directly to the extensive salad bar and is a regular lunch spot for locals. If you take the entrance off the side street you can sit at tables and have full a la carte selection. We, however, sat in the restaurant and chose from the salad bar. The seafood salad was very good, as... More

Came across this place for lunch and decided to go in. I ordered the ravioli with spinach and ricotta - my boyfriend ordered the grilled steak. He received poor quality tasteless meat - including a sausage for €14. The pasta came and it didn't look like the ravioli I ordered but decided to see what it was like. It wasn't... More

This place is a tourist trap. Do not eat here. They claim to sell pizza, but once you order they tell you they only have slices. Then, they want to charge 6 euro per slice when the bill comes. This is a tourist trap.

My husband and I stopped by Antica Hostaria Del Corso for lunch after visiting the Doria Pamphili Galleria. We chose our food which looked delicious from the glass display cases at the entrance, ordered and sat at a table near the window. There were a few customers inside the birreria, so our main came pretty fast. We had veal in... More

We stopped in for a quick on the go meal and this little shop was perfect. Everyone found something and it was ready to go within minutes. Very good and tasty.

This place was situated right around the corner from our hotel on Via del Corso. It's quite a charming place with friendly and funny waiters. The food was better than the more upscale places we've been to. Our penne carbonara and pizza tasted great. Pricing was reasonable, definitely not over priced. Be sure to get a seat outside, eventhough I... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
