We came across this place whilst visiting the Pantheon and other city centre sites. I must admit we didn't look far as we were hungry and ready for a little sustenance. A quick look at the menu and we decided. The kids had a Pizza whilst the adults had chicken and Pork. We were one of the early eaters and... More

We were looking for a nice place to eat close to the pantheon and we saw this place. They were boasting there excellent rating from tripadvisor and I thought - why not. So firstly, the tables are tiny and you're really close to everyone. Not very comfortable. This wasn't that big of an issue though. I ordered the porcini mushroom... More

This restaurant, just a couple blocks from the Parthenon, had great Italian atmosphere and the best service we've ever had in Italy. I can't possibly say enough about the waiter. He was attentive, polite, funny -- and cute. The food was decent, although not memorable. We clearly paid for being in this location. Three of us shared a first course... More

This hostaria is only a couple of minutes walk from the Pantheon. It is surrounded by other small restaurants all competing for the tourist trade. However, it stands out as one of the best "tourist" restos I have ever eaten in. The menu stretches well beyond pizzas and pasta: the food is well-cooked and portions are generous. We were so... this restaurant is close to the Pantheon, so the prices reflect the location, however the food and service is worth it. We had dinner, with two courses, drinks and spent 60 euros. We weren't rushed in and out, the service was good, and the food good quality.

The place is very near the Pantheon, in the outside it has a lot really a lot of posters saying it has an award or certificates of trip advisor, but really it was terrible, i was in rome for 2 months, so I knew a little bit of food prices, but this was a SCAM!!!!! first when we arrive the... More

We had a very pleasant lunch at this restaurant. Anika our waitress was friendly and the food was fine. It's well worth a visit if you're in this part of Rome and your feet need a break.

They lure you inside while you past by, trying to rip off obvious tourists They claim they serve breakfast. Oh they do! You can order two toasted bread with two orange juice for 23 euro's. The toasted bread was for 1/3 burned and the two lemon slides you got with it had the same size as the toasted bread. And... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
