We did not want to go to the city center to eat, so we tried this in our neighbourhood. My friend recommended me this place, but it was nothing special. The staff was really nice, the waitress helped us to choose, but actually the pasta that we had was average.

It is not easy for a roman like me to be surprised for the quality of a roman "trattoria". The food is extremely tasty and it is cooked in the original roman way. The ingredients are of first quality and, also for this reason, the menu is not wide but it includes only a good selection of courses. The environment... More

Good food, typical traditional atmosphere. The dishes are from the Lazio region and are very tasty, simple but perfect. Had a good time, would return. I'm on an ongoing search for the perfect spaghetti cacio e pepe, the ones come probably the closest. I works recommend this restaurant for a informal dinner with friends.

Found you via Google. Great food and dependant on whom serving, attentive service. Which is a shame because it has a mix of Italian/tourist and REAL italian food. So all the great elements of a great establishment. The big guy started serving then then the younger man took over. We dont speak Italian and their English is as good! But... More

We went all across town to eat amatriciana, but they didn't have it :( what they did have, however, was amazing!!! :D local restaurant, short and to the point menu, quick service, good value. We had pasta carbonara (thick and creamy sauce with crispy chunks of guanciale) and cacio e pepe, saltimbocca with roast potatoes, and two delicious tiramisu fatti... More

first of all there was nothing we disliked. we ate here four times and every one was most enjoyable. This is a family owned neighbourhood restaurant which has a very loyal local following. The food is traditional Roman, hearty portions and deep flavours. the house wine is also very good and rediculously cheap for northern europeans. we would recommend the delicious... More

It's ok.... if you are hungry, tired of walking around and not looking for something special. Nearly fresh buffalo mozzarella, barely acceptable carbonara and a lot of good ham. The bill was definitely at par with lunch: cheap

It was recommended to us and we were not disappointed, everything was great. If you are looking for fancy places, don't go there. The setting is very simple, as well as the menu. Service was good. The food was awesome - we had prosciutto and buffalo as a starter and then some beef with artichokes as well as veal. Wine... More

What a find! The popularity of this restaurant with locals is all you need to know. The service was friendly, and the waitress went out of her way to translate to English for us when she realised we were foreign, the place was bustling, the portion sizes were huge and the food most excellent. Would definitely recommend if you're in... More

This reastaurant is not the best I have gone to, it is not a different sensorial experience, but it is a true, good, roman restaurant. It is definitely off the beaten track, in a place where there is no special reason to go (unless you are an architect interested in Italian social housing from the 1930s), but there is something...
