We chose this restaurant for our last meal in Rome. After ten days and many restaurant experiences, we certainly had a basis for comparison and it did not disappoint. The setting is lovely, in an old 17th century building and the food was simply delicious....More

We had made the reservation so we got in quickly and had a great table. Beautiful restaurant, great ambiance, and great service. We had Caprese salad, lasagna, ravioli, chicken, filet mignon, and dessert and it was all great. Service was outstanding, and the restaurant was...More

Visited here for a family meal and the service was ok but the pasta really wasn’t that good - it was swimming in oil and didn’t taste of very much and no Parmesan offered. We were disappointed given the reviews.

A friend recommended this place and I'm glad we went as the food was great (not just pizza and pasta) - but service terrible! The waitresses were very rude, snooty and abrupt. Not a massively enjoyable experience.

Suggest booking in advance for this popular restaurant. It is close to the Pantheon, but tucked away from the 'throngs'! Service was a little slow but the restaurant was packed and it was raining hard outside, so they were trying to accommodate lots of people...More

Had dinner there last night food and service were extremely good - from the last portion of puntarelle that I had been told had run out (and one was found!) to the chicken - all very good. One thing marred the evening slightly on asking...More

When visiting Rome during early October, my husband and I were staying in a hotel steps from the Pantheon. We were wanting to find a good place to eat that was off the beaten tourist path of which the Pantheon area is certainly made of...something...More

We happened accross this restaurant by chance whilst wandering the streets around the pantheon. We live in london in Knightsbridge and have frequented numerous Michelin starred restaurants. I would put this restaurant right amongst any of those. The food was exceptional (probably the best Italian...More

Best meal EVER!! A tucked away treasure. The best Spaghetti carbonara, tiramisu, wine I’ve had in Italy in both my trips. We went late and lucked out with a table, but they recommended reservations. Enjoy!

Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos,
goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross

the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle
Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque
parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty
face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural

I had a hard time accessing their online reservation, but calling them was very simple. They speak English and will have no problem understanding you.

Hi, Beth! 6:00 PM is awfully early for dinner, in Rome. As a matter of fact, Osteria del Sostegno's evening hours go from 7:30 PM—11:30 PM, Monday through Saturday, closed on Sundays. Good luck!
