Lovely little restaurant. Really helpful staff who were friendly and knowledgeable. Great food! It’s the place to go if you want incredible mozzarella, but it doesn’t stop there! Their focaccia, salami and pizzas were all delicious. Reasonable price. The best meal we had in Rome!
We stopped here for a beer and meat/cheese plate after arriving in town. The location is great - right on the campo de Fiori plaza. We were able to get a table in the heated outdoor seating. Food was good, but light on cheese. We...had the focaccia to go with the plate which added 6euros, a bit steep, but very tasty.More
We come to Rome once or twice per year. We start most of our days here with a coffee or lunch of Caprese Salad and a spritz or Campari and Soda or a glass of Rose. Prices are reasonable, service is quick and friendly and...there is good people watching at Campo dei Fiori. Great Mozzarella and cold meats.More
Located right on Piazza Campo dei Fiori, Obica (a chain restaurant) is a decent spot to grab a meal. It's unpretentious, has nice tables outside with prices that are fair for a touristy area. The house specialty is bufala mozzarella which is served up in...a variety of ways. The simple Bufala Classica was good as was the mixed selection of Salumi. The special bufala crostini was somewhat disappointing as the tomatoes werw not fresh and appeared to be from a can. Service was good and lunch for the three of us came to 52E one beer, two bottles water and four food dishes).More
We went after long day of walking for drinks and cheese. The cheese was fabulous! They accidentally brought us another round of drinks that we should have turned away but we didn’t, and of course we paid for them. My boyfriend felt as if they...were laughing at us, you know us dumb Americans, but I suppose that’s what we get. One cheese was fabulous (I don’t remember which) and one ok but better with balsamic vinegar.
I would go back as I want to try more cheese.More
This restaurant was a highlight of our visit to Italy. The food is amazing and authentic. Our waitress was charming, friendly, and welcoming - she made our experience even better. We liked this spot so much we went on our first and last days in...Italy. Highly recommend the salted caramel dessert, rose Syrah wine, lemon ravioli, and pizza. Please make time to visit this restaurant!More
In US I avoid pizza, so often done with industrial tomato sauce and phoney cheese. But Obica, despite being a chain, is really, really good with pizza. The tomato sauce was fresh made and the Buffalo Mozzarella melted over had just minutes before been ladled...out from a case of fresh-today cheese balls. Then fresh basil picked no more than 12 hours ago. The thin, crisp crust was made wiith a combination of duram and corn flour and was the tastiest crust ever. For a quick stop between sights look for Obica.More
