The pizza is one of the best pizza's I've ever had and the service was quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend a trip to this Pizzeria. We went early (7pm) to avoid the rush and we were served almost immediately. Couldn't fault the place at all. Pizza's very good value as well at around €78-10 a pizza.

Outside of Napoli you probably cannot find a better pizza! Variety of choices, including the typical salsiccia e friarielli :) Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, decent prices - definitely worth a visit!

Admittedly we had just arrived in Rome hungry and needing a suitable place to watch Italy play Germany in the World cup but what a great find especially as we had the only 2 seats lest and available! The Pizza was great and with ample wine the cost was very economic at just over 30 euro. Make this a stop... More

Very special salads served in a pizza. Good pizza backed in a big Ofen, which you can look at while you are eating. Very friendly service, mostly Italien, but tried to speak English.

Delicious, no frills, affordable, intimate and authentic. The hostess was very friendly and attentive when we entered. The whole staff were efficient and good at their jobs. Open kitchen design is great. The food was classic and delicious. The prices are low and the portions are just right. So glad we came in. Will be returning the next time I'm... More

We found this pizzeria by chance, wondering through the streets of Trastevere. The interior is simple yet cozy, the staff is happy and welcoming and the pizza is great, fresh, with simple but very tasty ingredients that go together perfectly. The prices are more than reasonable and the house wine was a good fit for our meal. Will definitely visit... More

It doesn't look like a luxurious place, and it's not. But OMG, the pizza there's amazing! It's simple, tasty, prepared with authentic ingredients. The staff is quite nice, and the prices - not high at all. It was recommended to me by a local, and the restaurant was packed with people from Trastevere. So you know that it's not a... More

This has become our go-to place for reliably good pizza in Rome. A nice variety of flavors & toppings, many unimaginable, but unimaginably good. Sparse surroundings (table & chairs & kitchen), but excellent pizza from a wood-fired oven, efficient but helpful wait staff. The place was full of locals, families, students, very untouristy. We found this place several years ago... More

The pizza was amazing and very fresh! Highly recommended! We still talked about the pizza after we returned from our trip.

Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
