This is close to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. We enjoyed an appetizer of flat pizza and a bottle of wine before we viewed the fountain in the evening. Service was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Looking for a small but well-priced, family restaurant in central Rome? Then this is a good bet. We found this on TA and were please we had searched it out. Lovely authentic local food - I had the saltimbocca but there was plenty more on the menu to choose from. Busy with locals as well as tourists, yet they still... More

Our party of 3 had reservations for dinner at 8:30 PM on a Friday night. We made them through TripAdvisor. When we arrived the reservations were acknowledged and were told to wait just a few minutes and we'd be seated; the place was full with the exception of just a couple of 2-person tables. No problem, it's Italy - we... More

Our guide, Marta Masili, suggested we eat here so andiamo! Marta provided excellent directions and with our limited Italian we were seated pronto. Totally enjoyable meal - flavors were delightful and it was truly an authentic Roman meal - cacio e pepe followed by veal saltimbocca - veal and ham so thinly sliced they seemed to barely float in the... This was around the corner from where we were staying. It doesn't jump out at you but the food and house wine were quite good. It's a family operation and almost feels like your are dining in their home. We had lasagna and some grilled seafood, everything cooked perfectly. It's pretty small and very busy so I would suggest reservations.... More

We loved visiting this small, family owned restaurant. Our tour guide recommended it. Very good house wine and freshly made pasta dishes. The grilled calamari was excellent as well.

I have never been disappointed after eating at this excellent restaurant. A good sign is that there are always local people eating here. Situated not far from the touristy Fontana di Trevi the prices here are very reasonable. The service is good and the hostess takes your order at the table. Always delighted to return here on my trips to... More

Me and my fiancee ate here twice as it was just so adorable! We were served by a little old Italian woman who recommended the lasagna and that was great too! It's a small restaraunt that if you don't get in before 8 you may have to queue for a table which really is a good sign, small non English... More

One of the best dinners we had in Rome. Small restaurant and the tables are close but the food makes up for it. Reservations a must.

It is small. We were served by a mother and her son. I would recommend buying off the chalk board of specials. Good house wine, and really excellent food. It is a bit off the beaten path, and that made it even more special.

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
