A very nostalgic restaurant. From decor to food to the waiters. The food was good. Especially the poached cod fish in tomato sauce with spinach at the side. The waiters are all very smart n charming. And they are very professional. Many locals dine in.

It was a great place for a group visit. We ate here with about 20 in our group and it seemed effortless to our waiter. A choice of chicken, beef, or fish was complimented with 3 other courses. Great hosts.

We went to Rome for 4 days and went twice to this restaurant. Food is really good and cheap and we were really impressed by the service. People are all so kind and at your attention. Each time it was perfect. Thank you

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
