We were staying close to this restaurant and as always busy we thought must be good, we were not disappointed. The staff were lovely too and recommended and explained the dishes as our Italian is virtually non existent. Always great choice of wines again explained by the waiters. I had the mussels and lamb cutlets and my husband the mixed... More

This is top little restaurant that was right outside the apartment that we where staying in Rome, so it was a great location, the staff where very friendly. The food was really good, I was surprised to see it was manly locals eating & not so many tourist considering it's location so close to the Pantheon. Would go back here... More

Stopped here on the way to the Pantheon. We weren't looking to spend a lot but decided to dine here even though it had an upscale look and feel near a popular tourist site. The service was wonderful. We are relative newbies to Italy and have had some challenges with ordering. Not so here. Although our waiter, Simon, did not... More

This is our "go to" restaurant in Rome, both for lunch and dinner. It is slightly more expensive than the pizza and pasta competition, but as usual, you get what you pay for. This is a white table-cloth, attentive service restaurant with space between the tables (and therefore your neighbor's shoulders) and the ambience is vintage Rome: a classical church... More

Went from the pantheon and found this place. We had a 3 course meal and it was so nice! Both starters and mains were of amazing standard for both me and my boyfriend. The staff were super nice too and it had an amazing atmosphere. The desert was my only criticism as the custard wasn't made properly and had split... More

Warm chocolate soufflé with ginger and vanilla ice-cream 10.00 euro was a 9, Artichokes 13.00 euro was forgettable, veal chop 22 euro a 6. Service by Amir (?) and Michelle was a 10.... More

Few blocks from Pantheon in the historical district of Rome Clementa alla Maddalena is a typical down-town retaurant. Managed by Chef Rita Colaiacomo. Fresh fish, fried artichokes wieth meat cheese plate, home-mad pasta carbonara with crusty panchetta, procini, mushrooms, Desserts and coffees, good selection of wines. Cozy atmosphere however overcrowded, overpriced.

Good restaurant but prices VERY expensive when you finally see what you ordered. I ordered a salmon wich was excellent. BUT beware : with the main course, you won't have any vegetable or another kind of side dish. You have to take something else if you don't want to be hungry! We also had chicken with fries, very good too.... More

We arrived punctually for Christmas lunch and were looking forward to this restaurant as it was recommended by our hotel. Everything started well but the service declined as the afternoon went on. The first courses were served by friendly staff but as the restaurant filled, the service declined. Finally desert was served and when we asked for cutlery, a hand... More

I was here on a business dinner on a Thursday night. The restaurant was not crowded. Service was very friendly and very responsive to our atmosphere. Food is very good and we had a great evening. I had octopus (very good), gnocchi with asparagus tips (could have had a little more spice) and fillet with porcini (the meat was a... More
