Having our hotel few meters away, we decided to have diner in this fish & seafood restaurant. What a lovely surprise. Impeccable service, excellent food, wonderful wine list and a beautiful cosy set up. To our discovery, this place was graced with all major Hollywood actors, football, music and billionaire customers where you can see on a photo panel at... More

It is not the cheapest seafood restaurant in Rome however for sure The Best ! The quality of the ‘raw’ seafood - red shrimps / langoustines / tuna tartar - is exceptional. The freshness is unbelievable. The staff is friendly and well trained, in short: the service is top class. Verdict of this seafood restaurant: “The Best”

Food was good, but the service was terrible. Main course was served while my wife was still eating her starter. Thereafter we were completely ignored. Altogether a very disappointing experience. Don't go there.

Visited this place on a chilly Monday night the venue soon warmed me up with a great buzz and attentive service, beautiful people and tasty food. The sea bass baked in salt wonderfully moist and the ice cream served in frozen fruits was super.

We came here for dinner on our last night in Rome on the recommendation of a friend. As we had reservation, we were promptly seated in the main dining room. We noticed that most of the diners were Italians and there were not many tourists there. The waiter brought the menus. He was polite but arrogant and somewhat condescending. We... More

Overall mixed food with the absolute worst service of our 1 week trip (** I do not recommend this restaurant for tourists or foreigners **). For appetizers we tried the sampler of 6 various appetizers. Only 5 of our choices were served, with 1 unexplicably left out (we did not ask for it once we realized it was not coming).... More

I learned about this place as prosaic as it may sound...on one of Guy Fieri's shows about European food. The segment caught my eye, and I made it a point to write down the name of the restaurant in anticipation of a future "Roman Holiday". I'm delighted I did! Rome is full of exceptional eateries. Some famous and others that... More

Lovely restaurant with patio or indoor dining, exceptional food, personal attention. We will definitely return the next time we're in Rome. Thank you to the whole Assunta Madre team!
