We enjoyed the Easter Monday Menu which consisted of four courses plus unlimited wine, water, and coffee for 55 Euro per person. The table setting was very pretty with lovely, slender cutlery, a creative flower arrangement, and a cluster of small chocolate Easter eggs. Each course was a treat for the eyes and absolutely delicious. Broad bean flan with crispy... More

My sister and I stayed at the Hotel for a weekend in March and it was amazing! Our room was beautiful and clean with a massive balcony! Irene at reception was very friendly, helpful and welcoming! The Hotel is in an excellent location, we walked everywhere. On Friday night we went for a drink at the bar and then had... More

Had dinner there with a small child last week. The restaurant has got a live music which was very loud so you need to shout to each other. We were sat at the table for about 30 minutes before we even got the menu. It took another 30 minutes for the waiter to arrive to take an order. Actually he... More

We are currently in Rome for 4 Days and we came across this great hotel by chance. Wonderful staff friendly and professional, we had dinner on Saturday night no booking, the food was exceptional and the service was first class, attentive but not obtrusive. We have returned since for drinks and a bar snack, a great wine selection and today... More

Ok we stayed at the hotel. Tired on a Sunday night, so we headed down for a meal. Yes I read the reviews. The roof was close. We eat in the main floor. Waiter was very nice. We had great apple and lemon Martinis. Salads nice size. Pasta cooked perfectly. We had the saltcrusted baked sea bass. I was not... More

We recently had a company gathering at the I Sofa Rooftop Terrace and the folks at Hotel Indigo could not have been more accommodating. A great setting and great service by the staff. Mille Grazie!

The only thing better than food was the service. Highly recommended! The cappacio was amazing and the lamb cutlet was tasty, lightly pan fried.

I am making a point to write this review before i forget because i sofa more than deserves it. I booked the restaurant for a surprise baby shower lunch and from the first email enquiry until we exited the building at the end of the celebration the experience was first class. Valeria assisted with every aspect of the planning via... More

Had Xmas lunch here. Great food and wine. Was a bit hesitant at first - always try to stay away from restaurants connected with hotels, since one usually suffers. But in Italy, it seems the Italian sensitivity to food and wine means that this rule does not apply. Trip advisor entry advertised a roof top restaurant, which is actually shut... More

This will be our third night in beautiful Rome, and for the third night we have returned to I Sofa due to the fantastic service of Claudia and Ricardo, the resident bar staff, it would seem that nothing is too much and if a drink is not apparent in Claudia's vast repertoire she will happily research it and endeavour to... Description
I Sofa Bar Restaurant and Roof Terrace is located inside the HOTEL INDIGO ROME - ST. GEORGE, 5 star luxury boutique hotel in the city centre. The dining concept at I Sofà Restaurant is to lead guests on a journey of taste among the culinary excellences of Lazio and Rome. Our first courses are distinguished by our use of Gragnano Pasta, a protected geographical indication (PGI) product made from 100% Italian durum wheat semolina. We believe that there is no better way to get to know a place and its traditions. For this reason, our chef Domenico Cassese, chooses products from farm to fork, proposes and develops the tasty Roman recipes with a touch of creativity and prefers seasonal products to provide an authentic and genuine experience. During the summer season and weather permitting the restaurant and bar move up to the Roof Terrace for a breathtaking view over the city.
