Can't remember a more disappointing dinner in Italy. First came a Lasagne which was bland with mostly bechamel and cheese. After some time the other primo arrived - Amatriciana, which was extremely salty. And then soon after the secondo, ossobucco, was brought, even though the primi were not finished.... Forgotten were the potatoes as a contorni. They came after we... More

We managed to get in on the third evening, because there is qeue usually outside! We ate 2 evenings there and the food was really good and the price - cheap for Rome. Starters, pasta, wine, main course and desert - 35 euro! The food was better than other more expensive places that we visited. One advise - go there... More

From the start we was not greeted correctly and got left to wait around while we had no idea what was going on, the wine was cheap and tasted vile! We ordered salami and bruschetta and it come in a basket full of half eaten Salami... the bruschetta was bone dry and flavourless. Mains we had bolognese and lasagna the... More

Popped in for dinner on a rainy night after a long day travelling. Service was basic but ok. Food and wine excellent value and visited again for lunch. Restaurant packed with locals on both occasions always a good sign. So if you're ooking for some good basic food at great prices would certainly recommend.

This is my first time to dine in a restaurant in Rome. The staff recommended spaghetti Carbonara to me, which was really really good, probably one of the best that I have had. The bacon is the perfect match with the spaghetti! But I think the tiramisu was average as I can find better in somewhere else. The staff was... More

Service is average (more efficient than friendly), food is good local food - and the experience of a cozy small restaurant with a lot of guests having a good time was great for us! Add very reasonable prices, and we end at a 4/5 rating. Try it once :-)

Cheap. Only 4€ for a 1/2 liter of wine but food was bland. We ordered the spaghetti pomadoro and the gnocchi & mussels. Both were pretty bland and the waitress had a very hard time understanding us.

Lovely, very reasonable food and wine. Much to be recommended. We were a table for two but the owners will cater for much bigger parties with just a little notice.

We questioned whether or not we were at the "right" place numerous times during our meal because we couldn't make sense of the reviews in light of the meal we had. We arrived early to make sure to get a table. So early in fact that we were the first to arrive in the restaurant. The service was consistenly chilly... More

A perfect example of a Roman family run restaurant. The night we were there there was a lively mix of locals and tourists, and the atmosphere, although noisy, was fun and friendly. The menu is simple and prices are cheap: you can of course go for the option of pizza if you want, but they do serve some excellent Roman... More
