Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Arrived by chance at this restaurant near our hotel, we made a beautiful discovery. After getting caught in tourist traps, we pushed the door a little suspicious. And there the nice surprise, the waitress is very friendly and in addition she speaks French. The dishes are hearty and tasty, pasta pizzas, meats, everything is very good There is a nice dessert showcase. The atmosphere is warm, so we dine there every night during our stay in Rome
The prices are very correct , between 50 and 60 euros for 2 , main course, dessert, a glass of wine and coffee The restaurant is frequent both by Romans and tourists, it is a good sign
It doesn't disfill, it's better to come early or book
If we go back to Rome, no doubt, we'll go back.

We had a weekend in Rome, visiting some of our friends and they recommended this restaurant.
Guys you eat really well, I recommend you go every time you pass by Rome .... ask for emanuel who in addition to being a professional in his field, also gives good advice on what to eat . Chef Giovanni will delight you with his magnificent dishes. We will definitely stay again ❤️

We loved the property and the flavors. The pizza was pretty crispy. We had so many different pizza trips in Italy, and the pizzas here are in the top three. Mr. Shahadat who took care of us was very attentive and provided a delicious meal with his recommendations. Overall, our rating is 10/10

Queue outside & menu looked good so decided to eat here on our last night in Rome. Ordered Sea Bream on the waiter’s recommendation, my daughter’s pasta was served , she ate it, then the waiter told me that the sea bream was gone so I ordered something else, luckily didn’t have to wait too much longer. The food was OK but nowhere near as good as we’ve eaten elsewhere during our stay. Ordered 75cl of house wine at €20, last night we had an amazing meal at a nearby restaurant, service was impressive & half a carafe of really nice wine cost €6.

The place is very rustic and picturesque, friendly staff and we had no problems having a table without reservation.
Pizza and risotto very tasty, shame about the receipt cunning. Only on the way out I noticed a soft drink of €3 that we had not taken.
For a €10 risotto and a pizza €8.50 and still water paid €4 (clearly from tap) and €4 service per person (there were two of us) we spent a total of €29 euros.
It's really a shame not to be honest and do business like this. So if you're in the area, try it but watch your receipt.

A nice restaurant in a very cool area of Monti but overall the food was just average and the wine list limited. The staff are entertaining and clearly cater to a tourist dominant crowd but there are more authentic Italian restaurants in the area that we saw more local residents eating at. We were also disappointed when we got home to discover that after not having the first wine we selected they stilled charged us for the bottle which was more expensive than the one they replaced it with.

Based on reviews and the constant queues outside we were really looking forward to our meal here but the experience fell well short of expectations. Food was average and not particularly hot and a few things – the water (chargeable) before we’d even seen the menu, being charged for (and supposedly been given) the more expensive starter of grilled vegetables rather than the side I ordered and the suggestion by the waiter that if we liked their service a tip would be welcome when we subsequently found there was already a service charge on the bill – left a feeling of ‘trying it on’. All in all quite disappointing.

Neighborhood place that always looked busy so decided to try it. The waiters were excellent (mostly Asian) who were hardworking and hustling to help a restaurant full of customers. The atmosphere was nice too.
The bad….food is BELOW AVERAGE even by my unrefined palate. We got a pasta amatricana…waaaay too salty where we almost wanted to send it back. We also got three pizzas including margherita, diavola…the pizzas were paper thin….literally like flatbread in the US. Impossible to even pick up properly. The sauce and toppings were very average and looked store bought versus home made.
The worst….Copretto or service tax is illegal in Rome but not in this restaurant apparently! 2 euros per person. Also the menu mentions it’ll be waived if your bill exceeds 20 euros. When we noticed it on our bill, asked the manager and he tried to quickly make up a story that it’s 20 euros per person not the table. That’s not what the menu says. Crooked and unethical!
Throughout our trip in Italy, we always met kind, charming and helpful people except this restaurant manager, who’s probably the worst person we met in 2 weeks!
Stay away from this place - both for terrible food and deceptive behavior of management

Friends had recommended so I walked here…..awkward service - no one person served so no one was sure if I had ordered water or food etc. I asked for a beer - a Peroni and instead got a draught that they had on tap and a suppli that was still stone cold in the middle. Pizza was ok but very very crispy - if that is your style then it is great but I like my pizza a bit more chewy! Not terrible but not great.

Very disappointing experience. Slow service. We had to ask for the first course meal since at a certain point it had been over an HOUR of us waiting for two classic yet simple Roman pasta dishes: Carbonara and Amatriciana. Once the food arrived the amatriciana was lacking the MAIN ingredient!!; il guanciale (the meat). Absolutely impossible to makes such a mistake as a chef. We live in Rome and this has never ever happened to us. You simply can’t make that mistake. Obviously done on purpose to not waste guanciale…ridiculous. Carbonara over salted as well. First time we tried this place and I’m sad to say that I wouldn’t recommend eating here. Improve yourself is my final verdict. Ps. Both of us even got upset stomach’s after, who knows what they put in the food.

Got recommended this place - great reviews meant to be best in area. Was a queue at the door when we arrived at 6pm
I don’t know if I’m just used to having top quality pizza in the UK these days or these places are just generally wack. UK food scene is unrivalled these days only NY gets close.
The pizza I got was alright I ate it all but at no point did I eat a mouthful and think this is tasty as hell. It actually tasted of nothing other than bread and watery tomato sauce. Tiramisu was a cup of cream 😂
I came to Rome craving pizza and tiramisu and I’m leaving desperate to get home to the UK to Rudys pizza and M&S tiramisu 😂

This is a fantastic venue, recommended by our hotel The Fifteen Keys as a traditional Italian.
Busy, with a small queue outside, but we had a booking so just walked in.
We had pizzas, which are fantastic, such a thin base.
The restaurant has a very buzzy atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and very efficient.
On top of all this it is such amazing value. We were a group of 6 , so 6 mains, 1 garlic bread, 2 bottles of water and 2 bottles of wine and the bill came to 111.50 euros with service included!
Totally recommend, it is on our list for our next visit to Rome.

We visited the restaurant after it was recommended by friends. Even on a Monday evening (in November) we had to wait a while until a table became available so you can imagine how busy it can get (booking advised?)
The menu had lots of dishes and was really authentic and traditional. My wife has coeliac disease so the waiter suggested specific dishes.
The food was great and our plates were cleared leaving me with just enough space for a Limoncello sponge cake, which was not only delicious but was brought out to ‘happy birthday’ being sung by the waiters!
Great find, lovely food, authentic style and really friendly hosts. Looking forward to visiting again!

Food and services was decent, but way to small portions. I got my lasagna last and it was half the size as the rest of the groups dices. I told the waitress and asked for more, after 10 min he came back with the exact same plate but much colder. Would not come back after the way he handled it.

The service was fantastic but the food was just okay. As one reviewer stated, the servers were mostly of Asian descent and were very charismatic and attentive even though it was a full house. They went above and beyond to celebrate my family member's birthday. I want to say the food was subpar but it's really because there are so many delicious places to eat in Rome that this pales in comparison. If you're looking for a lively spot that takes walk-in big groups and you're not looking for the best food you've ever had in Rome, try this spot.
