We went there with our roommates from hostel to listen to some live music, cause they have open mic every evening, so music was amazing, all the performers were like professional singers, sweet voices, avalanche of energy:)it was the sweetiest evening in Rome:) highly-recommended;)

I´ve been to that bar several evenings during my stay in Rome and it was always GREAT! Especially the live-music events at high quality were real fun! (jazz...). And thanks to the nice, friendly stuff! :)

Btw 'craic' means fun in Ireland! We were staying in a hotel across the road & we heard music coming from here on Monday night so popped in. The place was hopping with live music 'Sofa Unplugged'. Super in-house band & then different people from around the world, U.K., U.S got up to sing. By far the best was the... More

Wanted an authentic Italian meal & was not disappointed, lasagne or carbonara is PERFETTO, followed by potatoes with salad, a soft drink with coffee after & all for only 11 euros...

Situated at Via Milazzo about 5mins away from Roma Termini station lots of hotels and cafes nearby. This little cafe command a crowd that come and go in a jiffy. Oops! I learn to make my order in a jiffy by going to the sandwich counter and order my favourite ham and mozzarella cheese sandwich that is toasted and with... More

Its a very small cafe stuffed with locals. Nice and healthy panini's. Also a wide selection of sugary snacks. Hopefully you find a place to sit.

Excellent Margarita and Cappuccino with Nutella. Very close to Roma Termini. However they do not take credit cards.

Went there with my wife for a breakfast and we were surprised with such a great options to chose between the most popular Italian types of breads! Coffee was absolutely amazing as well and for a fair price!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
