I stayed at Hotel Capo D'Africa and they recommended Papagio. The food was amazing (particularly the fried artichoke and white fish... tiramisu also to die for) and the service was outstanding. I went several times within a few days!

Just had lunch there and despite the fact that they would already have closed they served us. Nice antipasti, good pasta and a coffee and off we were to tour the colosseum which is 5 minutes away only.

As soon as we sat down, our server brought the both of us a complimentary Prosecco. We had a wonderful meal followed by Rum Baba topped with orange gelato. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our favorites were the spaghetti with fresh truffles which were shaved tableside, grilled sea bass which was deboned tableside and the tuna carpaccio. My first time eating chicory and...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just
west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as
it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet
for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season,
quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its
cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique
and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime
residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
