This cafe takes advantage of unknowing tourists attending the Vatican Museum. €60 for two ham sandwiches and coffees... This place is the worst in Rome! Please don't make the same mistake we did..

Whatever you do in Rome, don't go here. You'll leave with half your entire wealth having been spirited away for a coffee and a crap sandwich. Read the other reviews for a more detailed overview of how these people rob you.

Even though you're on the edge of nervous breakdown, even though you have to walk 100 meters on your knees, avoid this place. I've been weak because the kids were exhausted but believe me, no kid deserves such dry chicken, spongy vegetables and weird pasta.

This is more like a restaurant than a cafe. We went for coffee but the food on offer looked delicious. The milk shakes, chocolate and strawberry, were some of the best we have had. Would certainly recommend. Very clean and excellent service.

We went here for lunch and were charged €47 for 2 wraps and 2 coffees. The prices shown are not what you pay. Absolute rip off I would avoid this place!

as per all of the other awful reviews; terrible food that is insanely overpriced. We were charged over €90 for some old lasagna and what was apparently a chicken escalope (very questionable) Just save yourself the hassle of being ripped off for awful food and walk somewhere else. Complete rip off and joke.

Cold Lasagne. Dry Carbonara. And more overpriced than you could ever imagine. DO NOT EAT HERE LIKE WE DID!

Hi I hope you never have the horrific misfortune of ever going in this cafe. If you do you probably had to part with a limb to pay the bill. My wife and I had cup of tea and a pastry each, we were naive as never asked for a menu but the prices are not visible for a reason.... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
