Always a lot of people who want to get this great ice-cream. There are lots of ice-cream shops in old town of Rome, but many of them are just tourist traps. Frigidarium proposes proper Italian ice-cream, and its price is fair.

I suppose 'best' is subjective, but this was the best tasting Gelato, given my sample size of 4 gelatos per day when I was in Italy. The price is good, and the queue wasn't too long when I was there. The fruit and nut flavoured ones tasted very authentic.

Solid choice along this street - but the tastiest IMHO is slightly closer to the square with the '(really) home made' gelato. Theirs is to die for!

Venice, Taormina, Positano, and now Rome....this place topped all the others and we've been having gelato at least twice a day for two weeks. Need to revisit this place.

The gelato is finger licking good. The price is good and the flavors keep beckoning you back. As i was waiting, i overheard several people mention that they keep coming back every day I became one of those people. Come and enjoy the gelato!,. Thats amore!

It was the only place i had ice cream in Rome. All the pistachio ice cream i had until this one was an illusion. If you wanna try the best, you have to go there

I've been to Rome and Italy countless times and had countless ice-creams there. I also come from a place where there are quite a few mean ice-cream sellers. But this, this is quite simply the bestest ice-cream I've ever had. As of now, it is a fixed appointment whenever I am in Rome. Every flavour you'll try you'll love, but... More

Fourteen days - 16 gelateria. Frigidarium stands out for depth of flavor, richness and an all-around great experience. Four people, 11 flavors total, and all were excellent. Best overall in Rome, Florence and Venice.

There was a line of people and I thought I should try it. It's quite different from the other gelateria since they add either a dark chocolate or white chocolate topping in your gelato. Sorry, I found their gelato too sweet, not remarkable. However, it does offer good value since the servings are very generous.

Figidarium house is a classic Italian gelato where tradition and the search for new flavors are always accompanied by the choice of quality ingredientsThe customer service is not limited to the essential, but try to convey the passion and attention that we have in the laboratory to produce our ice cream.
