We ate here several years ago and intend to keep going back again. Felice was established 81 years ago (1936) and remains in the same family. The founder actually survived for most of the long run and was replaced by his son. There is as...More

This is a popular restaurant, famous for cacio e pepe. Popular has been translated into higher than average prices for simple, if generally well cooked, food. Watch out for the coperto, listed a bread on the bill. The cacio e pepe is good, but at...More

Best pasta in my entire life ! Really tasty food, menu is different regarding what day of the week it is... Waiters friendly but a bit pushing to cosumption... ( water, wine choice, bread extra etc...) Otherwise a must try !

Despite getting popular with tourists it can still make you feel in a true roman style place. Modern style with classical dishes. “Cacio e pepe” is your first choice. Artichokes in season are also terrif. Finally, don’t miss the dessert: “tiramisu al bicchiere”

We went there twice on a recent visit. Lamb, beef. polpette, carcioffi all excellent. Great selection of wine at reasonable prices. The only thing that was a bit strange was that they were out of some menu items early on a Saturday evening. Anyway everything...More

The food is good. One of our party preferred the Cacio e pepe at Oio (also in Testaccio) but I thought Felice's was better. The artichokes were divine, all roasty and covered in oil. I really liked the tomato sauce on the rigatoni with small...More

Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio,
an ancient Roman port and former working class
neighbourhood where the bass is set to high almost
every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche
(nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants
give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the
daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club
