Nice restaurant in a quiet and very roman neighbourhood (Testaccio). If you are fed up with the city center and wishing to have an experience in a real roman restaurant (one that is frequented by real roman people) go there. The spaghetti Felice are very good, so are the other dishes of the roman tradition: to me, why also the... More

I ate here in September 2006 while on business trip. You need to make a reservation. The waiters clearly did not like the fact I was not a local or not Italian. Strange, because most of their customers are tourists. I paid 44 euros for a main course (Saltimbocca) and a desert (semi freddo with almonds), a glass of wine,... More

The local friend reserved this excellent restaurant during our 1day trip in Rome. A great place to enjoy the authentic pasta in Roman way/ Cacio e Pepe is the signature dish and the artichoke is famous in Rome. The type of artichoke is totally different than France or another EU countries. You can see the professional waiter served Cacio e... More

I ate in this restaurant a few times and food is fantastic, among the best in Rome for Roman cuisine. Advise for Cacio e Pepe, Carbonara and whatever they advise for. As a dessert, Tiramisu was very good! Always reserve in advance as the place is constantly full!

Felice is regarded by locals as servicing the best ‘cheese and pepper' in Rome. Expect excellent food, and a packed restaurants with locals ordering the famous artichoke starter and cheese and peeper spaghetti. This is a must visit. Recommend: go with the masses and order the artichoke and the 'cheese and pepper'. Visit at lunch time and combine with a... More

Four meals, two lunches and two dinners, convinced us that this wonderful restaurant does food the way it was meant to be done. Everything about the flavors and textures was spot on. Great pasta, desserts, and reasonable wine complete an excellent dining experience. It's one of those places that you need to seek out, since it's not on a main... More

Beautiful restaurant and very friendly service (literally a rare find in rome)! Food was delicious and prices were very reasonable. Reservations required as this place was incredibly busy even in the off season.

Staying in Testaccio

Neighbourhood Profile
Put the house music on replay and you have Testaccio, an ancient Roman port and former working class neighbourhood where the bass is set to high almost every night of the week. Its collection of discoteche (nightclubs), street parties, and crowded restaurants give it its well-deserved party reputation. During the daytime, Testaccio is more easy listening than club hit, the area is full of locally owned small businesses and has one of the city's larger produce markets.
