I asked a friend for a recommendation and she sent me to this trattoria close to Piazza Navona. I was with a friend and wanted to experience authentic Roman cuisine, without paying a fortune or being duped. This was exactly what we were looking for. We had grilled veggies as an appetizer, together with fave e cicorie, then two pastas... More

This restaurant is smack in the centre of Rome, so I kind of expected it to be poor quality and overpriced (like most of the other restaurants in the centre of Rome). Not the case here... This is one of the best, most traditional restaurants I've had the pleasure of eating at since I arrived to Rome three months ago.... More

Went were for a dinner on advice of our hosts and are very greatefull. Were quite lucky but only just. Place become full very fast with most of the tables reserved. Customers are mostly locals and constant guest. So overall this is very traditional Roman establishment with perfect cooking and service without extra fuzz. Pizza and pasta are simply great... More

I had the Spaghetti Cabonara which was a traditional style dish cooked with lardons of ham and bound in the cooking liquer and egg to make the... More

Just around the corner from the piazza navona, but unlike the tourist filled restaurants in the piazza this was filled with Italians! Basic trattoria style décor... nice white tablecloths.. had the grilled fish - delicious .. wood fired pizza, pasta etc. Very reasonably priced... service was good....definitely recommend for a nice lunch. It was packed - we were lucky we... More

We found a recommendation online while we were trying to escape the terrible options in Piazza Navona for a late lunch - we enjoyed but not overwhelmed. Boyfriend's carbonara was very tasty - my pizza was greasy and the salami tasted very fatty / greasy. Service was good, but we felt like we were being rushed out so they could... More

Was getting lost (on purpose) and hoping to stumble upon a place for dinner. This was around the corner from my apartment and the owners and their granddaughter were working. Very nice people. Three generations were there. Had the prosciutto pizza and a glass of wine.

Very nice people, good service. Fiori di zucca fritti delicious - also the local White wine was really tasty. The waiter were really kind. We also had a zuppa di cipolle (very very good) and puntarelle con battuto di alici as first course, I think the best onion soup ever. Puntarelle were so fresh and tasty. Second course we had...
