Cosy atmosphere, polite and professional service, laid down restaurant with exceptional food. You have to try the carbonara. And house wine surprisingly!

Our evaluation is a combination of 5 stars (my family) and 3 (mine). The food quality is definitely good, but not exceptional. The location is nice and very "local", with enough space among tables. I was not particularly impressed by the variety of choices (not many, in my opinion) and the friendliness of the staff (not the warmest). Pastas are... More

Worst pasta I have ever had in my life. The dishes were very salty and the taste was awful. Very expensive for the bad quality it offers. Avoid it.

Slow service and miserable staff. Everyone was rushing around us but did not give us any attention. No one asked if everything was ok with our food. Food average

If you want some really good Roman food near the Colosseum - this is the place to go! Reasonable prices and nice guys who run the place. The food was really delicious as was the house wine! We went there twice!

Very friendly staff, they asked a couple of times if everything was according to our wishes. And they gave good suggestions and responded fast. The quality of the food was high.

Visited for lunch after sightseeing-greeted initially by a waitress who immediately answered the phone leaving us standing in the doorway -another waiter then asked if we had a reservation which we did not however it appeared that we were lucky and a table for two was found-the table was not already set which was not a problem but it was... It was probably the closest restaurant to the place we were staying, which ended up to be a great experience! The roasted potatoes were amazing (according to my wife), as for myself, the Cacio e Pepe spaghetti was a great option! The whole experience itself was great, the staff were all youngsters covered on traditional tattoos, and the walls full... More

The story begins in 1899 when he created the restaurant a stone's throw from Piazza Vittorio Emanuele where it is one of the great markets of the city. In the 30's, Angelo Potetti in turn buy the restaurant. At the end of the 50s, gives it to his daughter Ilde. We will cook for more than 45 years. At the age of 84 years passes the stove to his son Stephen. After a few years it will sell, but the family story will continue as it will be one of the cousins to take the challenge, helped by two other friends. The angelino Bros were born.

Today Angelino still remains a place of typical Roman cuisine. The restaurant is located in the heart of the Esquilino district, within walking distance of the Colosseum and San Giovanni in Laterano and Santa Maria Maggiore. Eat us remains an authentic Roman experience.
