Absolutely wonderful food, atmosphere and service! The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I came a few different times and tried the pasta one night and the sea food platter another night. Not only was the food perfect and tasty but the service there was impeccable! Valerio & Francesco both did such an amazing job with the service, it... More

We have visited this restaurant many times on the walk back to our hotel. The food and service has always been wonderful. Gian Battista is a fabulous employee! He is always courteous and helpful! He made us feel like family! Ciao Bella!

We had an exelente lunch at Ciao Bella today. We were served by Caterina, who gave perfect treatment. I asked for risotto funghi, and it was one of the best I have ever enten. I will return there next time in Rome.

We were attracted to Ciao Bella as it had tables on the pavement totally enclosed in glass, so you are part of the outdoors, yet cosily inside! The waiters were very attentive and recommended the restaurant's speciality, which is seafood. I went for the salmon, but my husband decided on steak strips with porcini. We also ordered mixed vegetables and... More

Came with a group of 10 students. They were very accommodating. The food was also very good. The only issue is that we had 5 vegetarians with us and the vegetarian second plate was just a bunch of mushy vegetables.

The waiter who pulled us into the establishment was very personable and fun. However, he immediately began to try to upsell us for every item we ordered. We ordered a 30€ bottle of wine; he recommended the 90€ bottle. He immediately brought bread and water which we were charged for, but never asked for. Finally, he recommended the fish special... The place was nice and comfy. The food was good and delicious. First time in a very long time, i did not need to add extra hot sauce or flakes to my food. I like my food spicy. They also offer you Spumante before a meal, which I though was very good. Normally nothing is complimentary. They also offered a... More

Appearances can be deceptive - with its fairy lights and 'charming' manager (who lures unsuspecting victims off the streets with a glass of cheap fizz, more like a relentless salesman than a restaurant manager) this place looked appealing. However, we were lied to by said manager about the fact that ALL food was freshly prepared rather than frozen, as the... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
