Very busy and that makes for impersonal service but great for pizza and a drink. Very fair price for a Roman restaurant and offer freshly made gluten free pizza! Definitely worth going for lunch.

Went here based on other Tripadvisor feedback. Pizza came really quick, after 5 minutes. Pizza was good, but just nothing special. Other visitors were mostly tourists, probably from nearby Coloseum. Many Asians. Wine was cheap and good, 1l for only 8€...Pizza also around 8€.

I visited this restaurant on my first trip to Rome, 16 years ago, and had fond memories of the deep fried stuffed zucchini flowers. The restaurant is still serving them, and although they weren't just as fabulous as I remember them to be (tragic!), I still ordered them, twice - on both occasions we visited this restaurant over our 4... The place is located very close to the Roman ruins. The seating capacity is huge and still you have to wait for your turn. Freshoven backed pizza is too good

Visited with my friend after visiting the Roman Forum and we were graciously and warmly welcomed. Restaurant was busy, but not overly crowded. Patrons seemed to be mostly locals with some tourists. The staff spoke English, and the menu was in English as well. They have a wide range of inexpensive white and red pizzas and such, as well as... More

We visited this pizzeria twice on our short break. The pizzas were delicious. A bottle of prosecco is only 12 euros, which given the fact that you are only a few minutes from the Colosseum, is pretty amazing. The pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven. There's a huge selection. Probably the best pizza I have eaten. Starters were... More

We went to Alle Carrette for lunch after visiting the colosseum. It was a good move. The pizza was tasty and a great of price. The house wine was an absolute bargain (€4 for half a litre) and the service efficient. Be warned, TripAdvisor has the location marked wrongly. We used Google Maps instead. We will definitely return if we... More

This is definitely a place for people who love authentic Italian pizzas!!! We stayed in Rome for 5 nights and we came here 3 times, we loved it that much! I made a mistake on the first night and accidentally ordered a pizza with meat on it when I am vegetarian. The man, who I assume was the owner, noticed... More

There are several options for celiacs to eat in Rome. This one is just 400 m away from Colloseo, but still not touristy. Service is good. GF Pizza is very tasty (thin / cross / delicious) 1/2 l housewine is 8 EUR; Pizza was less.
