We only had a couple of days in Rome and had some really good meals. This place was the exception. Very bad service and dissapointing food. We couldn't even get a bottle of wine with our meal. They seemed totally disinterested.....

Poor explanation of the menu, and horrible horrible service attitude. The meal does not worth the bucks at all.... even fast food is a better choice..... Never look back

The menu looked good so we took a table. The service was ok. The Calabrese Pizza was just passable - a lack of topping and scant cheese. The pasta was small but tasty. We ordered a 2013 chianti and received a 2015 chianti with the...More

In summary the service was a disaster. It took them 2 hours 30 minutes for two drinks, one cheese starter and two fish dishes. I asked the waiter for more ice for my wife's drink but he ignored us. The food was cold. We had...More

We found the restaurant expensive for its location and the food a strange fusion with too much Japanese flavor, even the Risotto parmiggiano did not live up to expectation; too much tempura!!!

Nice staff and quick service ( we've been on Tuesday evening) . We ordered a salad, beef "tagliata di manzo" and tiramisu. Everything was fine and correct.

We actually ate here twice. The first time everything seemed so tasty and good with the exception of the deep fried small artichokes (oh well, what were we thinking?) I think we were ravenous. But we had a pleasant server and everything looked good. However,...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only
way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The
Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas
in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s
famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to
its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub,
Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot
