For just 12€ a person we enjoyed a huge 3 course meal with water. The portions were more than generous and the quality was good too.

Just around the corner from our hotel so I went everyday and waited as she did the female make up ritual :-), nice to sit outside and chat to the lads and other customers. A medium beer (pint) is 6e, pizza 8e and there is a large menu that is not overpriced between 6e for a large mushroom omelette, pasta... More

Home cooked food done to perfection. My friend and I on arrival were greeted with a glass of prosecco very welcome sight. We only had a soup which consisted of a chicken broth with egg and parmesan with chunkly ciabatta bread, absolutely delicious. you have to get there pretty early as it is very popular

If in Rome and if looking for great food at good prices, this is the place to go. In general the prices are relatively the same as most restaurants in this district of Rome, however what made this a good selection was the "specials" they offer - at least at the time we visited which was about 3.00pm during the... Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
