I seriously had the best pizza of my life in this small, local, family joint in the Parioli district of Rome. The pizza was Roman style (thin crust, slightly charred) and I had the one with zucchini and sausage. It was perfectly done with the right proportions of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself... More

Small and untouristy restaurant away from the crowd. Best pizza ever. If you're in the area I really recommend it

Tired of all the cool hip restaurants we found this place based on the comments here. And yes they're are true. Italian restaurant by all means with a waiter who clearly speaks ant English - with simple hand gestures and a menu with English translation we managed to order two pizzas and a bruschetta pomodorro. The pizzas were amazing -... More

Very good pizzas, in fact the best we had in our whole 7 days Rome trip. Very local, with a modest and honest vibe. Not many tourists (we were obviously the only ones at the time of our visit). Courteous service in italian only. We loved it!!! And the prices are more than fair. Highly recommended for a dinner with... More

We had 3 large pizzas and a small one, a bottle of water and a beer for €25! The place is small and busy so be sure to get there before rush hour.

Walking out from our hotel on our first night, we passed by this little gem and noticed the queue outside. On our way back from the Piazzo del Popolo, saw it was just as busy so we thought this must be good if the locals rate it. We were not disappointed. Typical Roman thin-crust pizza - simple but delicious. Two... More

You have to try this place if you are close to Piazza del Popolo or the Flaminia metro station. The pizza is amazing. The staff is quick to serve (but have limited English skills). The prices are great, between 4 to 7 Euros a pizza! You won't find tourists here, only locals. Arrive early or be prepared to wait as... More

This pizzeria serves amazing typical Roman pizza (quite thin) and many other traditional Roman dishes. If you go here try bruschetta con alici, pizza Margherita and ventaglio con crema. The only drawback is that the place is quite small :(

We walked past this place countless times going to and from our apartment and thought nothing of it. Until...one night two local well-dressed men passed us on the sidewalk and a block or two later we saw them walking out of Il Buchetto with FIVE PIZZAS. It was then we noticed a crowd of people waiting to be seated outside.... More

Came here with my cousin who lives in Rome. Great pizza, thin base and a very nice sauce. The shop is quite small and very busy so either get in early or after the rush at around 10pm

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
